Sometimes signs are for suckers. We were looking for a place to shoot, in a very beautiful but manicured park. I was hoping for something a little wilder looking. We wandered around a while. It was quickly approaching what photographers call the golden hour, when the light is soft and warm and is just beautiful for shooting. We needed to find a spot. And then we found it. A rocky cliff surrounded on both sides by flowers. And there was a little sign, "please keep off". Sometimes rules are made to be broken and this was one of those times. Don't worry though, no flowers were harmed in the making of these photos.

The Island

Sometimes a few days sparkle in your memory. The hours are filled with joy, laughter and good company. The world seems to slow to your pace. You are invited to explore a new place, a magical place. Unexpected delights hide around every corner and you feel as though each perfect day will never end. And when they do, you look back and remember, that is happiness.

Filled with bubble tea, we took a few snaps at a gorgeous old school. It was one of those schools that you always wish you went to; the kind that seems so glamourous that they can't possibly have ever learned things like long division there. I don't know if it's current students share that feeling, but they sure do have a fabulous playground.
